Los Angeles Sourcing, Friends & FAM

I was lucky enough to make my way down to Los Angeles for the week-Catching up with my good friends and fam and accomplishing some work while I was there. I was able to meet up with a couple of my design clients as well as a handful of producing sourcing and wholesale talks.

I was on a mission to determine the 2013 merch for FAM Digital-Torn between hats, t-shirts, hoodies, jackets I decided to go down a route I’d been eyeing for a while, necklaces. I collect necklaces from my travels and had always seen their ability to stand out and knew I wanted custom necklaces for the entire fam..The results are soon to come but check out some of the photos I shot below.

Skydiving Dubai

My latest trip to Dubai I decided to give Sky Diving a try. Was an all around amazing experience and will definitely be doing it again.

Startup Abroad Bali

I was lucky enough to attend Startup Abroad Bali-A program organized by Chelsea Rustrum to destination co-work. Whats this mean? We basically all flew to Bali, Indonesia from around the world to work together for 2 weeks. All (10) of us were founders of tech companies or startups and shared a common passion of travelling and experiencing new things.

The experience was overall phenomenal and was able to get to know 9 other amazing people and share a truly memorable experience. Not only did I receive great support with my startup and business endeavors, but was able to experience rice  fields, volcano sunrise hikes, Bali Beaches, bike rides in the country and so many more experiences.

Below are some of the photos from my journey

Startupbus & Rackspace Stop

I managed to find my self on Startupbus 2012 without much understanding for what I was getting my self into. I wanted to write about the experience and document some of the trip with photographs.

The below photos are mostly from the Rackspace event and last couple of days we spent up to the Semi-Finals and Finals where my team, Cerealize, ended up winning.

You can read more about my experience on my blog, or from a few of the awesome media organizations to cover us:

Detroit Visit & Startup Weekend

After spending a few weeks out in Sunny San Francisco I was headed to some where I never thought id be, Detroit, Michigan. I was off to meet with Jason Lorimer and Jeff Heng whom I work with on the Early Intern project. When I arrived late Thursday night we had a round of drinks around dinner getting to know the other two Philadelphia natives that Jason brought out for the weekend, Kevin Jackson (who has a kick ass beard and ui/ux skills) & Kevin Griffin (developer wizard with a bad ass british accent).  While there we spent most of our time checking out the Detroit Venture Partners new home at the M@Dison Building and working on various projects, mind you we spent some significant time next door at the Detroit Brewing Company as well.

First Palo Alto Visit

I type this in my Seattle bedroom as the sun rises, looking back on the first few weeks I spent in Palo Alto. The Bay Area was a familiar place to me having visited a handful of times, even once for Christmas and New Years with a good friend. The  weather, culture, public transportation, architecture and startup scene was always very appealing to me.
