Abstract art paintings can be seen as an odd thing-When I tell people I enjoy to paint, they generally ask back “What do you paint?” and I respond “everything”. Abstract art is a great way to express and provoke emotion, even if its “damn that’s cool”. The point is when a wall or a space is empty without abstract paintings art, the room lacks where it could possibly have character, not just as the room its self, but as better portrayal of who you are, or the purpose of the space/room. It’s  than a Britney spears poster or cheap Target decoration.

The other benefits to hanging unique abstract art is its possible effects on your mood and overall mental well being. Colors have been scientifically proven to have effects upon your mood. “Colors in the red area of the color spectrum are known as warm colors and include red, orange, and yellow. These warm colors evoke emotions ranging from feelings of warmth and comfort to feelings of anger and hostility. Colors on the blue side of the spectrum are known as cool colors and include blue, purple, and green. These colors are often described as calm, but can also call to mind feelings of sadness or indifference. ” (Kendra Cherry) If you take this into account, having specific art pieces throughout your home can affect your mood on a daily basis.

For example, I have calm colored pieces in my bedroom, keeping my room relaxing. My living room has bright, and very energetic pieces of work. As a result my bedroom is more relaxing and distinguished, and my living room is more energetic and full of life and character.

Its been a week since my last set of paintings-Exploring some new techniques and experimenting, all while creating some colorful abstract art. I name each piece as a part of a bigger “series” for categorization. I feel that naming pieces puts a predisposed way of interpreting the art, this way each piece is open for all interpretation for the viewer.

Weather has been fantastic here-And I’ve been celebrating with an abundance of art. After finishing my previous set of art alst week I was quick to starting my next set. I’ve gotten 8 pieces on the way to completion, making  alot of headway in terms of advancing techniques and versatility. I plan to get this set finished up on Thursday, and starting the next on again on Saturday…It could be about time for a new supply order.

Busy busy busy. I have sold my first custom art piece, also had my first unsolicited and unknown sale at Coeus Clothing. Web development has been busy with a slow but steady increase in traffic. Live Your Lyrics is appearing at the top of many searches in Google, with an increase to quotes daily.

I will be focusing on Abstract art, Coeus clothing, and developing Rightside creative to focus on providing social networking and online marketing for small and large businesses alike..Stay tuned.
